STANDING TOGETHER Inez Milholland’s Final Campaign for Women’s Suffrage series
A Photo Essay from 2016 - 2020: Project Research from 2016 - 2020 and Principle Photography from 2012 - 2020

LIMITED EDITION PORTFOLIOS A limited edition portfolio was released at The Photography Show by AIPAD 2022 and includes a numbered special edition book along with thirteen images paired with quotes enclosed in a hand-crafted box. Each portfolio also contains a hand-embroidered map; title, plate, and colophon pages; and an envelope containing newspaper clippings from the National Woman’s Party 1916 Western Campaign trail. All contents of this portfolio are hand-crafted by the artist in her studio in Dallas, Texas — including the wood-burned cover panel, archival pigment prints, embroidered map and reproduction envelope and newspaper clippings. The clamshell box was built by Cloverleaf Studio in Austin, Texas. Produced in an edition limited to 12, plus two artist proofs and two hors d’commerce.

LIMITED EDITION INDIVIDUAL PRINTS Images were captured digitally and are available as archival pigment prints. All sizes are in inches. Each print has a white border and is either hand stamped and signed en verso by the artist or is accompanied by a signature label. Landscape images are printed on Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper and are offered in four sizes. Edition sizes are 8 small, 5 medium, 3 large and 2 extra large [+ 3 Artist Proofs]. “Autochromes”–portrait and still life images–are available in two sizes, small and large and are printed on Epson Hot Press Natural Paper. Edition sizes are 9 small and 3 large [+3 Artist Proofs]. All prints are either printed by the artist or by Coupralux Fine Art Printmaker under the direct supervision of the artist (for larger sizes).

LIMITED EDITION MONOGRAPHS A limited edition cover monograph of the series was created by MW Editions and was released in August 2021.

THROUGH DARKNESS TO LIGHT: SEEKING FREEDOM ON THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD series
2002 - 2016: Project Research and Principle Photography Completed

LIMITED EDITION INDIVIDUAL PRINTS Images were captured digitally and are printed in three different sizes: 18 x 12.5, 24.5 x 17 and 36 x 25 as digital chromogenic prints. All sizes are in inches. The panoramic image, The River Jordan, is sized at 52 x 12.5, 70.75 x 17 and 104 x 25. Each print has a white border and is either hand stamped and signed en verso by the artist or is accompanied by a signature label. Edition sizes are 12, 9 and 8 respectively [+ 3 artist proofs].

Limited Edition prints are part of the permanent collections at Archive of Documentary Arts at Duke University, Hunter Museum of American Art, Lehigh University Art Galleries, Princeton University Art Museum, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The Phillips Collection as well as various corporate and private collections.

LIMITED EDITION PORTFOLIOS A limited edition portfolio was released at The Photography Show by AIPAD (April 2018) and includes 12 images selected by the artist interleaved with vellum sheets of printed quotations from those who played an integral part in the Underground Railroad. Each portfolio [1-15 + 3 artist proofs] contains a numbered book, a print of the documented route, title page, plate titles with location and date photographed, and a colophon sheet. All contents are produced to museum standards and are enclosed in a hand-crafted box made by Jace Graf at Cloverleaf Studio in Austin, Texas.

UPDATE: THIRTEEN of the 15 limited edition portfolios have sold including acquisitions by the following institutions: Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Library of Congress, University of Texas at Dallas, University of North Texas, and the Hill Memorial Library at Louisiana State University.

TERRA FRACTURA: A Visual Survey of Manmade Earthquakes series
2015 - present: Project Research and Principle Photography Ongoing

Images are captured digitally and are printed as archival pigment prints with a white border. Each print is part of a variably-sized edition of 10 [+ 3 artist proofs], with the largest image size of 54 x 38.5. Prints are either hand-stamped, labeled and signed en verso by the artist or are accompanied by a signature label.

 

FRAMES series
2000 - 2001: Principle Photography Completed

Images were captured on a large format 4x5 field camera and are sized at 23.25 x 19.75 inches on 24 x 20 inch paper. Series is in an edition of 15 [+ 3 artist proofs]. Five prints of most images in the series are available as traditional chromogenic prints, hand-printed by the artist utilizing a color enlarger. Remaining prints in the series are archival pigment prints.

 

BEFORE: THE PARKS ESTATE series
2007 - 2008: Principle Photography Completed

Images were captured on a large format 4x5 field camera and are part of a variable-sized edition of 15 [+ 3 artist proofs] as archival pigment prints.

 

WANDERLUST series
2002 - 2003: Principle Photography Completed

Images were captured on a large format 4x5 camera. Image size is 6 x 7.5 inches on 11 x 14 inch paper. A limited number of prints are available as traditional silver gelatin prints, hand-printed by the artist. The remaining prints in the edition of 25 are archival pigment prints.

 

FOOTSTEPS: THE STAIRCASES OF SAN FRANCISCO series
2000 - 2001: Principle Photography Completed

Images were captured on a 35mm Pentax camera. Prints are archival pigment prints and are available in two sizes: image size of 8.25 x 11.5 on 16 x 20 inch paper and 15 x 21 on 20 x 24 inch paper.
